PEARLS This project is an audiovisual installation taking place at the light festival ISLAND OF LIGHT in Smögen, on the west coast of Sweden, 5-14 September 2025. The pearl is often seen as a symbol of beauty and love, and in everyday speech we can refer to both people and places as a beautiful pearl. In some cultures, pearls are seen as symbols of wisdom and they are also associated with the moon and water, teardrops of the moon. For this installation I like to think of pearls as moments in time representing the beauty of life. |
